Ryan Kennedy, Head Coach
Ryan enters his third season as Head Baseball Coach at Parrish Community High School in 2026, bringing over 15 years of coaching experience at multiple levels. A native of the area, Ryan is a 2003 graduate of Lakewood Ranch High School, where he was a four-year varsity shortstop and helped lead the Mustangs to the 2003 Class 5A State Championship. Ryan continued his playing career in college contributing to University of Tampa’s 2006 National Championship team, when posting a .387 average with 13 home runs and 63 RBI in his senior year, earning First-Team All-Region and Rawlings Gold Glove recognition. Ryan was selected in the 19th round of the 2007 MLB Draft by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and won the Pioneer League Championship with their affiliate. You d as Head Coach at Lakewood Ranch High School (his alma mater) for nine seasons (10 years total in the program), compiling a 136-91-1 record, winning back-to-back district titles (2018-2019), making five regional appearances, earning 2020 Academic State Champions honors, developing 35+ players who advanced to college/pro levels, and producing four professional draft picks. Under his leadership, Parrish Community achieved a 20-7 record in 2025, advancing to the regional quarterfinals in Class 6A.
