Sterling Pell, Head Coach

Sterling joined the Sailors' staff in August as an assistant coach, immediately contributing to player development and daily program operations. Prior to Sarasota High School, Sterling spent four seasons (2021-25) as an assistant coach at Chipola College, one of the nation's top junior college baseball programs. His coaching career also includes a decade at his alma mater, Cardinal Gibbons High School, where he played a vital role in building a competitive program and mentoring student-athletes on and off the field. A former pitcher at Florida Atlantic University (FAU), Sterling competed as part of a nationally ranked Owls team that advanced to two NCAA Regionals and one Super Regional, gaining experience at some of the highest levels of collegiate baseball.
